SPIRIT DAYS: TODAY the theme is Brains vs. Brawn. Would you rather score a 48 on your ACT or the game winning touchdown? Both are winners! On Friday, Show your school spirit for Swede Pride day. Swedes lead in school and on the field! Homecoming candidate should turn in a senior picture to Mrs. Keiser for the Homecoming Game Program and their writeups to Mrs. Meisinger by Wednesday. Rehearsal for the ceremony will be held Thursday during lunch. The Homecoming football game is next Friday, October 12, against the Ogallala Indians. Following the game, the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned on the field. The dance will follow the game in the elementary gym from 9:30pm until 12:30am. Admission is $5 per person. Doors will be closed at 10:30. Out-of-town and out-of-school dates need to be signed up in the high school office by the end of the day Thursday, October 11th. This event is semi-formal - please no jeans!

THANKS FOR THE CALCULUS CLASS for putting on a great Math McDonald's Event and thanks to all who supported it. The winners are Shane Peterson a 10th grader with guess of 420 on jar of M & M's where 449 was correct amount. Other winners in high school are Kooper Koehn with 30 sec finish on piles of 10 card game, and Olivia Bonine with a total of 7776 on ten roll of 9 dice game. In the elementary Caden Neels is the winner of card game with time of 28 sec, Kohen Jonas with a total of 7776 on dice game, and Quinn in Mrs. Ostendorf's class and Logan in Mrs.Koehn's class with the low moves on Pat
